The Signs of Praise Deaf ministry began by providing interpreters in a hearing environment, so the Deaf could be involved in our services. We continue to provide interpreters in all the church activities, but we have had a vision for many years for the Deaf to have services more catered to their own culture. We are finally seeing the fruition of many years of prayer & dreaming. The Deaf now have a Bible study that is led by one of their own each Wednesday night, as well as a teacher-signed Bible study on Sunday mornings. More recently we have begun a quarterly Deaf service that is well attended & continues to outgrow its “space” each time we meet. In these services the Deaf are able to share in leading worship, testimonies, prayer requests & prayer, drama, & the actual planning & implementation of the service. A speaker who is Deaf or specifically trained to minister to that culture most often preaches in the language of the people. We are seeing lives changed & people stepping up to serve the Lord as a result! What a blessing it is to see God answer prayer on behalf of this ministry over the years & continue to grow it!

- Occasionally we meet for Bible study in a restaurant or home, so feel free to contact us prior to your first meeting to be sure you don’t miss out on one of these special outings. Once you have attended, you will be contacted anytime there is a schedule change.
- Deaf fellowships at LCC every fifth Sunday, Christmas fellowship in December, and Together in Christ Deaf Conference at Camp Caraway each spring
